In order to further expand the channels for the popularization of psychological knowledge and meet the extensive needs of teachers and students for psychological books, the Mental Health Education and Counseling Service Center of the Department of Student Affairs (hereinafter referred to as the Counseling Center) carries out the "I Read, I am happy, I grow" activity for the faculty and staff of the whole school and the students of the college。On December 4, 2014, the activity was officially launched. Under the guidance of the teachers and student assistants of the Center, nearly 100 students read and learned happily on that day。

The Psychological Library of our school was established in 2013 to provide information for teachers and students to solve their own development problems。After a series of additions, there are now more than 200 volumes of the latest psychology books published in the past 10 years, including psychology professional books, interpersonal communication, emotional counseling, stress relief, love and sex, potential development and other aspects of the rich content of the books, basically can meet the interests of teachers and students in psychological knowledge and professional needs。In order to better improve the utilization rate of the library resources in the psychological reference room, in line with the purpose of caring for teachers, serving students, and promoting the common growth of teachers and students, the psychological library is open to all teachers and students。On the first day of opening, the library welcomed a large number of students who paid attention to psychology and self-growth。Students who come to read are registered in an orderly line under the guidance of the center's teachers and assistants, and borrow books according to their needs。In order to create a warm and harmonious environment, the counseling center opens a total of 5 psychological counseling rooms for everyone to better read。The students who participated in the reading activity said that the books in the psychological library were very rich, covering all aspects of the content they wanted to know, and they were very grateful to the school for providing them with such a good reading resource。

From December 4, 2014 to May 5, 2015, the Psychological Library will be open to all teachers and students on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 18:00 to 20:30. It is hoped that teachers and students can make full use of this reading platform to open the door of their hearts and climb the ladder of progress in happy reading。In the next stage, the counseling center will further enrich and improve the book resources of the psychological library according to the reading needs of teachers and students。At the same time, the counseling center will also recommend and organize teachers and students who have learned from reading to share their reading harvest with others through texts, lectures or reading salons on related topics, setting off a new trend of "love reading and help growth" in the school。
