To further strengthen the construction of our school counselor team，Promote professional development of counselor team，Improve counselors' ability to prevent and intervene in psychological crisis，Mental Health Education and Counseling Service Center of the Department of Student Affairs in the afternoon of June 26，The 2018 Vocational Competency Training for Counsellors - Identification of Depression was held in Conference Room A317 of the Power Building。The training was lectured by Sui Jibin, director of the Psychology Department of the Sixth People's Hospital of Jilin City, and all the students and workers participated in the training。    

    Sui Jibin started from the severity of the current depression problem, respectively from the symptoms and characteristics of depression, causes and susceptible groups, cognitive misunderstandings, as well as prevention and treatment of four aspects to explain the relevant knowledge of depression。In the process of explaining, Sui Jibin used a large number of cases to help everyone understand the methods of identifying depression in colleges and universities, the skills of talking and getting along with depressed students and their parents, and the cooperation ways of counselors, counseling teachers and doctors in facing depressed students, which benefited everyone a lot。At the end of the lecture, some instructors combined with personal experience of the case put forward the doubts and difficulties encountered in the work, Sui Jibin are patient to do the answer。    

    This training timely filled the knowledge needs of counselors in practical work，The work ability of counselors in the prevention and intervention of psychological crisis has been improved，The Mental Health Education and Counseling Service Center will continue to carry out related training series，Further strengthen the practical effectiveness of mental health education network in the prevention and intervention of psychological crisis。
