At noon on October 29, the Psychological counseling Center of the Ministry of Student Affairs held a meeting for the assistant of mental health education for students in the department in Room 410 of the University Student Activity Center. All the teachers of the psychological counseling center and the student assistant of each department participated in the meeting。      

 

 

First of all, Mr. Wen Zhu, director of the Psychological counseling Center, introduced the current situation of mental health education in our school, and explained the "543" mental health education model composed of school-department-class three-level network。Teacher Wen said that the department, as the main force of mental health education in our school, plays an irreplaceable important role in improving students' psychological quality and promoting their all-round development。In order to further improve the effectiveness of the department's mental health education work, from this year, the Psychological counseling Center in each department to select a strong sense of responsibility and organization, communication skills, and volunteer for mental health education services as the school's student mental health education work assistant。      

 

 

As the newly added student cadre of the department, the student assistant will become the backbone of the "543" model，It is the link and bridge of good communication between departments and schools, classes and departments in the three-level network，Its main duties include the following aspects: The student assistant serves as the assistant to the instructor，It is necessary to cooperate with teachers to complete the routine psychological work stipulated by the school，Ensure the high efficiency and order of the department's psychological work;The student assistant should communicate regularly with the psychology committee of each class in the department，Listen to the psychological demands of the students，Grasp the true psychological state of the students，And the actual situation will be timely feedback to the instructor，Ensure that students' problems are effectively addressed;The student assistant should cooperate with the guiding faculty to carry out various forms, rich and beneficial, and highly targeted psychological theme activities in the department，To enhance the students' psychological quality;The Student Assistant shall assist and guide the faculty in the promotion of mental health education in the department，Upload the content of the department's characteristic psychological activities and excellent class activities to the website of the psychological counseling center，At the same time, showing the style of the college and the appearance of the psychological committee，To promote the study and exchange of mental health education between departments。
